I find this hilarious because I know one of the guys that comes on stage dressed like alex. Perfection.
—Waking up in the morning.
On the way to school.
Seeing your friends.
Seeing those bitches you hate.
Seeing your crush.
Get called on in class.
Get homework.
See two bitches fighting like
And you watch them like
Lunch time.
More classes.
The final bell rings.
Go home and get on Tumblr.
Go to bed.
I laughed at this much longer then I think I should have. It’s perfection.

—“Alex DeLeon of The Cab saves a fan!”
Many of you have heard about this by now, but I just wanted to share some thoughts.
For those of you who don’t know, the other day at the Pontiac, MI show there was a girl near the front who was having some health issues making it difficult to breathe. Mid-start of “I’ll Run” the crowd was trying to get the attention of anyone to help and Alex caught sight, stopping the show to immediately jump off stage and help pull the girl out from the crowd. Marshall ceased playing the piano and came over to the front of the stage as well. Ensuring she was okay, Alex left her with a kiss on the forehead and then jumped back on stage to carry on the show, Marshall taking his place back stage left. You can read the full story here if interested.
I just wanted to draw attention to how incredibly precious this story is, in a way that I don’t know if others have noticed. My heart truly goes out to the fan and I hope she is alright. I simply thought it interesting how the song they had just begun to play was “I’ll Run”, and Alex himself has said of that very song, “When you see someone around you stumble or fall to pieces, pick them up. Help them out. Lead by example so when you fall, someone can be there for you” (x). I honestly believe that that is what makes The Cab so special. It’s easy for any band member to draw up a nice little blog post, say these endearing sentiments on Twitter, in interviews - whatever it may be. Any performer can say those sort of things. Alex, and everyone else in The Cab, take their words to the next step and exemplify their spoken kindness with heartfelt actions. Once Alex knew what was going on he didn’t even hesitate - he jumped from the stage without explanation and offered a helping hand during the middle of a performance. How many other bands do you know who would do the same?
More than anything let this serve as a reminder: be kind to one another. Help out where you can. Even an encouraging smile or a pat on the back can go a long way. Don’t just say nice things, do nice things. The Cab lead by example and I would expect nothing less of their soldiers than to follow in pursuit.
This is why I love this band and these boys. They are Incredible.
This is hilarious.
